Hello Ruth, I see you and Charlie write about Fred very often, here is Charlie's aunt. I was just writing with her about these articles and wanted to let you know that Charlie and I will be checking this certain article soon. I don't want to provide you (and other fans) with wrong information that Charlie posts on her blog and I think you understand that. Your blog is amazing by the way, for your age you have a fantastic taste in Classic Hollywood. Regards, Anti
Wow, why hello!!! I’ve heard so much about you from Charlie :D Oh yes, I completely understand ^^
Oh please, you’re much too nice. I really need to thank you for sharing so many things about Fred to Charlie (that she eventually shared with us here). I’ve learned so many new things about him ever since I met her on tumblr and it’s been really wonderful, really, thank you ^^

But you know what, that is strange, because she just told me that he seems to have had (does that grammar exist? LOL) more dates than just Ginger and Phyllis. Adele also brought girls to him while being in London and he was shortly before engaging himself with her D:
Well of course he’s dated other girls than Ginger or Phyllis. After all, he was an eligible bachelor who happened to be a big broadway star. Girls must went crazy over him :/

According to an article my aunt read and told me through the telephone (she read it from an article that was sent to her i-phone by someone who works in an archive and has several Astaire articles) Fred and Phyllis knew each other from 1926 on but they were not that close. They used to date more often tho what Fred did not put into his book, my aunt says that the article said it was Ava who said it and Fred could not remember it was Phyllis he dated but Phyllis told Ava when she was 09.
